Trade Missions
Trade missions take many forms - from small tours aimed at introducing companies to government and business counterparts, to detailed and highly product-oriented demonstration trips.
Many exporters rely on trade missions as a way to meet potential representatives or distributors who will help them expand into new markets.
Following is a list of scheduled trade missions.
ITALY (MULTI-SECTOR) TRADE MISSION
The South Australian Government, in conjunction with the Italian Chamber of Commerce – Adelaide (Australia) will be supporting a multi-sector mission to Italy from approximately 10 – 24 September 2008. The mission will involve exhibiting and trading through the South Australian stand at Fiera del Levante 2008 (Bari, Puglia) – the largest general trade fair in Europe, recording 1million visitors over 8 days, market awareness and business matching program in the Puglia, Emilia-Romagna (Bologna) and the Tuscan (Florence) regions.
South Australian companies and organisations which specialise in food/wine, horticulture, machinery, automation, food processing machinery, renewable energy (geothermal specifically for Tuscany), fashion, leather/hides processing, environment and stone/construction and are considering entering or expanding into the Italian/European market are invited to register their interest.

hong kong ict expo industry trade show
The Hong Kong International ICT Expo provides the chance to introduce new ICT products and solutions not only to the Hong Kong market but also markets on the Chinese mainland. The Department of Trade and Economic Development will be participating with interested South Australian businesses.
Outbound Mission from South Australia to Poland
Austrade Warsaw is coordinating an Australian national stand at POLEKO, the largest environmental trade show in Central Europe.
The Polish Ministry of Environment estimates Poland must spend about 40 billion Euros by 2012 to meet environmental standards. Major opportunities exist in Central Europe for Australian companies, particularly in areas such as municipal and hazardous waste management, recycling and biofuels.
